Skills Development Facilitation

The Skills Development and Skills Levy Act require that organisations appoint skills development facilitator (SDF), complete workplace skills plans and submit annual training reports

Get as much as 85% refund of your Skills Development Levy. Every month you are paying 1% of your salary bill into the skills development fund. Using a qualified  Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) will ensure that your training programme is in place, entitling you to claim up to 85% of the levy back. Ø       Develop an organisational training and development plan

Ø       Conduct an analysis to determine outcomes of learning for skills development and other purposes

Ø       Coordinate planned skills development interventions in an organisation

Ø       Advise on the establishment and implementation of a quality management system for skills development practices in an organisation

Ø       Conduct skills development administration in an organisation

Ø       Do a training needs analysis using Unit Stds. linked to job roles

Ø       Develop and submit the Workplace Skills Plan(WSP)

Ø       Advise on and monitor implementation of the WSP  including training delivery, assessment and quality assurance

Ø       Compile reports on implementation of the WSP (Implementation and annual training reports)

Ø       Investigate and manage the implementation of Learnerships

Ø       Contribute and assist where necessary in terms of Unit Stds, assessments, recognition of prior learning and moderation

Ø       Provide facilitation services where necessary
